Invisalign

Invisalign are clear teeth aligners that are less noticeable than metal braces. They are also removable, making them a good choice to those who like some leniency. Our dentist may recommend seeing your Invisalign aligners every few weeks to ensure the process is carried out effectively.

Braces

If Invisalign is not the right option for you then you can always opt for conventional braces. Traditional braces tend to be a more cost-effective option than Invisalign but usually require more maintenance. There are several types of braces you can choose from.

  • Ceramic braces: They work similarly to metal braces, however, these are made of clear brackets or teeth-colored brackets that blend in. These are much less noticeable than conventional metal brackets and often tend to work faster than Invisalign aligners.

  • Palatal expanders: This is a device that is used to adjust the upper jaw so that it can easily fit in with the lower one. This is often followed by the use of traditional metal braces in order to straighten the teeth.

  • Forsus appliances: These are used to correct the jawline of patients whose upper jaw protrudes over the lover one. This device is known to align the teeth and significantly reduce overbites thereby promoting a healthy jaw growth.

Many people who experience tooth decay and plaque build-up consider teeth extraction as their only option. In such cases, crowns may provide a better alternative. Crowns can preserve your natural tooth, as their purpose is to cover the affected area, preventing further damage.
